Quality Wood Arrows
For those of us who enjoy traditional archery, wood arrows help us reach back a little further in the past and experience archery as it once was. Less technology and more connection between the archer, the bow and the arrow. Handmade in North Carolina USA, I take pride in every arrow that I make and hope that they bring joy to their Archer.
My build process includes hand straightening each shaft before and during the painting process, matching components by weight and aligning nocks with the wood grain in order to maximize consistency. Each arrow shaft is hand spine checked to verify spine prior to use. I use two tones of wood stain instead of crown dip, allowing the natural wood grain to show through. Multiple coats of clear gloss finish makes each color pop.
